Here in North Shore Collinwood, revitalization is really taking off, and more and more people are discovering the charm of living here. As our neighborhood gets economically stronger, we want to ensure that the financial rewards of that transformation are available to everyone – regardless of their background or what it says on their pay stud.
We’re helping build up some incredible wealth for folks through our super-affordable homeownership programs. But we recognize that not everyone is ready for homeownership … and not everyone wants to take on that responsibility. So the challenge becomes: How do you build up wealth for renters and reduce the likelihood that they’ll be displaced by rising rents and cost-of-living?
It’s a tricky question, but we think we’ve got a pretty good solution. We’ve teamed up with Cornerstone Corporation for Shared Equity to launch Cleveland’s very first renter equity program! Long-term renters will be able to accumulate more than $4,000 in cash after 5 years of on-time rent and participation in tenant meetings. That money will grow and grow – up to $10,000 over 10 years!
And fortunately, while renters wait for the cash to come rolling in, they’ll also be living in some incredible spaces. Northeast Shores’ renter equity program is getting piloted in truly unique live/work spaces tucked inside a series of charming 1920s brownstones. Each unit benefits from lots of natural light, extra-high ceilings and contemporary finishes and appliances. And if that’s not enough, every single renter will have either a dedicated workspace – or storefront!
So yes, you get a high-end apartment, a place to make or sell work and the opportunity to accumulate some serious cash, all while building relationships with other creative entrepreneurs in the renter equity program. And how much does it all cost? $600 – $700 per month. No. Joke.
As you can imagine, our pilot renter equity units are going to lease very, very quickly. Don’t get left behind. Check out details about the program here, and call today to get started on becoming the newest resident in North Shore Collinwood.
