The Homeward Program
Homeward homes are new or newly-renovated homes developed by Northeast Shores in partnership with The Cleveland Housing Network (CHN). The rehabs are vacant Collinwood homes with fully updated electrical and mechanical systems; new roofs, doors and windows; updated kitchens and bathrooms; and new flooring installed throughout.

The new-construction Homeward homes are built with the conveniences modern homebuyers are looking for, but blend those conveniences with the classic look and feel of older homes in the neighborhood.

The Homeward Program provides a mortgage product that is truly affordable with your family's budget, along with down-payment assistance and comprehensive counseling on becoming a successful homeowner.

Lease Purchase Homes
Lease Purchase Program (LP) homes are new or vacant homes that are renovated in a similar fashion to Homeward homes. But are reserved for sale to low and moderate income people who have the desire to own their own homes and might not otherwise have the opportunity to become homeowners. About 80% of LP households are headed by women with children.

You'll pay a low monthly lease payment, learn to maintain and improve your new home on your own and have access to supportive services through CHN if needed. After 15 years of responsible tenancy, you'll have the opportunity to take over the mortgage for about 1/3 of market value.

Luxury-Class Market-Rate New Homes
Northeast Shores partners with developers to build new homes on vacant or neglected land throughout the neighborhood. The homes feature modern conveniences in exciting contemporary floor plans, in single-family and condominium configurations.
