Cleveland Lakefront State Park
: (216) 881-8141
Watercraft: (216) 361-1212
The North Collinwood area boasts three recreation areas of the Cleveland Lakefront State Park system. State-funded improvements in the late 1990s brought better access and improved facilities for park patrons.

The Euclid Beach Recreation Area offers a 650-foot swimming beach with shaded picnic areas and a scenic observation pier. The picnic area above the beach will accommodate a large group (300-400 people) and may be reserved for a nominal fee. The park's climbing gym is popular with youngsters.

Villa Angela Recreation Area. This area offers a scenic boardwalk, fitness trail, bathhouse, wheelchair-accessible fishing pier and 900-foot swimming beach. You will find a variety of plant species and scenic overlooks here. A bridge connects this area to the adjacent Wildwood area and parking lot.

The entrance to the Wildwood Recreation Area is at the E. 174th Street/Lake Shore/Nottingham triangle. This park is highlighted by a six-ramp boat launch and picnic area. With access to the summer walleye fishery in the central basin of Lake Erie, Wildwood has two lengthy rock break-walls used by shore anglers. This park also provides access to Euclid Creek which attracts anglers in the spring for its Coho salmon. The break-walls offer stunning views of the downtown skyline both day and night.
