The Cleveland Police Department, in cooperation with the Cuyahoga County Sherriff’s Office, and Drug Awareness and Prevention, Inc., would like to help you safely dispose of any outdated or unwanted prescription medications.
We all have unneeded or outdated prescription drugs in our homes. The question becomes on how to dispose of them. Clean out your cabinet and help protect the environment from improper disposal of medications at the same time. Collection programs greatly lessen the chance of prescription medications entering our
water supply.
More so, teenage prescription drug abuse is rapidly increasing and your family medicine cabinet could become a teenager’s best supplier. Help protect your family and friends from the lure of using or selling unused prescription drugs. Dispose of these drugs.
The program is completely confidential. No personal information will be asked. Please remove all prescription labels before arriving.
